Patients to Connect with Top Experts at HealthTalk's Rheumatoid Arthritis Town Meeting in Seattle, WA on July 22nd.
At a time of exciting medical progress, people living with rheumatoid arthritis will have an opportunity to listen and talk directly to top experts in the field at a live, two-hour town meeting in Seattle, WA on July 22nd. There, they will hear the latest disease information and advanced treatment options on how to slow or possibly stop joint deterioration.
Rheumatoid arthritis is a potentially disabling and disfiguring autoimmune disease that affects 2.5 million Americans, the majority of whom are women.
This free HealthTalk Town Meeting, "Living Well with RA: Disease Progression and What You Can Do About It," will be available to participants who attend either in-person, via toll-free telephone access, or as text and live audio on the Internet. More than half of the two-hour event will be devoted to taking questions from all three audiences.
Panelists include two renowned rheumatologists: Dr. John Klippel, medical director of the Arthritis Foundation and Dr. Phil Mease, rheumatologist and researcher from Seattle Rheumatology Associates. Also participating will be Diane Sowinski, patient advocate, living with RA.
